Myrtle Terraces Phase 1 is located in Gainesville, Georgia. Located behind the Guilford Clinics this 84 unit senior living facility enjoys close proximity to the wonderful amenities Gainesville has to offer. Our residents enjoy working with students from Brenau University who are studying Occupational Therapy among other disciplines in a program that provides free Wellness Care to our seniors. Winner of the 2015 Charles L. Edson Tax Credit Award, Myrtle Terraces brings national recognition to our small Foundation.

Demand for this facility were apparent long before opening our doors when we had a waiting list of over 1,600 people who were interested in living here. Today our residents enjoy the abundant common areas and activities that enrich their daily lives.
Legacy at Vine City

Legacy at Vine City is first new multifamily development located in the historic Vine City in downtown Atlanta. The City of Atlanta is currently building the Rodney Cook Sr. Peace Park on 16 acres a few hundred yards from the southwest corner of our site. The new $1.5 billion Mercedes Benz Stadium opened about 1,706 feet southeast from our site.

Searles Foundation partnership with Housing Authority of DeKalb County (HADC) and its affiliate Housing Development Corporation (HDC) to create this 80 unit senior facility. Being one of the nation's first RAD conversions this community provides significantly more affordable rents than most other options in Stone Mountain.

Bank of America funded this development owned by a partnership of Searles Foundation and Marietta Housing Authority (MHA). West Cobb County residents can enjoy living near family and all the amenities Powder Springs and Hiram Georgia have to offer.
Myrtle Terraces Phase 2

The second phase of our award winning Myrtle Terraces adds another 76 units to the existing 84 unit community. Opened in November of 2020 the facility enjoys the same close ties to Brenau University as Phase 1 as well as being on the City's senior transit line giving our residents direct access to all the comforts Gainesville offers.
